About the Facility
Located in the heart of Maharajganj district, Uttar Pradesh, Adharshila Old Age Home was established in 2017 with a mission to provide shelter, care, and dignity to elderly individuals who had nowhere to go. At the time of its foundation, there were very limited facilities in Maharajganj and nearby regions for abandoned, homeless, or helpless senior citizens. Many elderly people were found struggling for food, medical care, and emotional support, often living in loneliness and neglect. To address this critical need, Adharshila began its journey with just 5 elderly residents, determined to create not just a shelter, but a true home for those who had been forgotten.
